Welcome to Coached by Grace,

Today you are invited into the discussion. The subject is God. Lets talk about God.

Call to worship:

Welcome to Monday. In my life I take special time to contemplate on the concept of immensity, on something that is greater then what I can understand. I believe in God. I also believe that I am not God. This frees me up to be surprised by such things as joy, as laughter, sadness, light, color, images, sounds, smells etc. Please think about something today that is beyond your ability to comprehend, allowing yourself to appreciate the benefits of creation. Have a good day, be safe, take care and God bless.

After contemplating this thought I read the above scriptures and was prompted to follow my own advice. Here are a few thoughts.

Hymn: Dry Bones Come Alive

Acts 16:9-15  As you come alive, where is God calling you?

When you get there how do you know you are where you need to be?

Psalm 67  When you look, what do you see about God that causes your soul to feel healthy?

Music: It is Well

Acceptable religion is to seek healthy agendas.

Revelation 21:10, 22-22:5

Is it possible to have any personal agenda if we but seek to rejoice ? In our rejoicing do we find God?

Music: There is a River

Jesus says this search will bring peace, will cause us to be touched by the Spirit, this walk will remove all fear. John  14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.

John 5:1-9

Perhaps in the search for God there will be many new discoveries, perhaps an acceptable religion will rise to the surface and like the man by the waters we can too can rise up and walk.

perhaps we are being given a chance to start over to live with acceptable religion that honors and bears witness to God who we walk with and who walks with us.
